Assistant Director/ Dance Instruction

Creative Combos, Technique Teams, Lyrical, Ballet 1, Primary 2 Thursdays, Primary 1 Tuesdays,

     Rayna will be going into her fifth year at the Academy and is a graduate of The University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education. At the University Rayna received extensive training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Improvisation and Tap Dance. At Starline, Rayna teaches the majority of the Dance classes and is proud of this program. She has created the Starline Dance Team which is a wonderful outlet for students to push and challenge themselves.

     Originally from Easton, Rayna has been dancing since the age of 3. She has studied at numerous places in the Boston and Philadelphia areas including; Jeanette Neill  Dance Studio, The Dance complex and Koresh Studios. Rayna has taught at the Creative and Performing Arts High School of Philadelphia, the Napoli School of Music and Dance, My Gym Children’s Fitness Centers and at College Academy in Easton. She has performed at the Merriam Theatre in Philadelphia and for the Philadelphia Fringe Festival with Rootedance Ensemble. Rayna has also interned at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

      In addition to her teaching Rayna has performed with Dancedge Dance Company based out of Watertown, MA and has  participated in a grant program at the Jones Preschool here in Stoughton for a few years where she developed and taught a creative movement program.       Overall Rayna has extensive knowledge in Dance as she has been studying it her whole life! She does continue her training by participating in workshops and classes out of Boston. Some in New York as well! She is  a graduate of the Boston Teachers Club of Boston where she received the "American Academy of Dance Award" and is a member of the Greater Brockton Dance Teacher's Association.

     Rayna is truly a professional and loves children of all ages. Students will find a passion and enthusiasm in her teaching style that instills a love of dance to all. Come join her classes at Starline! You will love them!!
