Paris Kampanelas

Artistic Director/ Owner

Ms. Kampanelas holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance and Music Education from The New England Conservatory of Music. Paris created and founded The Starline Room Dinner Theatre in 1981. For fourteen years The Starline Room entertained audiences and helped jump start the careers of many young talented singers and actors. Many former “Starliners” are successfully working in the business today either on Broadway or in film and television. When, the Starline Room closed in 1994 Ms. Kampanelas returned to teaching and has been the K-5 Music Specialist for the Gibbons School in Stoughton for the past fifteen years. As well as traveling to other local elementary schools in the district and directing an award winning Show Choir for Stoughton High School, Ms. Kampanelas maintained a private voice studio in her home and taught many students who are studying music, voice and theater in colleges across the country today.

After a ten year hiatus and extensive renovations The Starline Room Dinner Theatre at the newly named Paris Cabaret reopened in June of 2004. The normal extension of this has resulted in the renovation and opening of The Starline Academy for the Performing Arts. Paris is the director for all the shows at the cabaret and for its annual musical collaboration with the Academy. Most recently the collaborations have been Oliver, Annie and The  Sound of Music.

Paris welcomes you and is very excited to give children and adults an opportunity to further their education in the Arts in whatever specialty they love. Ms. Kampanelas is a member of NATS (The National Association of Teachers of Singing), NE/OSA (New England Orff- Schulwerk Association) and the Massachusetts and National Chapters of MENC (Music Educators National Conference). Her favorite past performance roles include Laurey in Oklahoma, Carrie and Netty in Carousel, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Marion in The Music Man and Maria in The Sound of Music.
