Mark McCarron
Resident Accompanist
The Starline Academy is extremely fortunate to have Mark on it’s faculty as he is the most amazing accompanist around. Mark knows The Great American Songbook quite well and every Broadway show there is. Originally from Stoughton, Mark displayed his talents at a very early age and was the winner of Ted Mack’s Sunday Morning TV Talent Show. While living on Cape Cod, Mark’s talents led him to play piano there. Moving back to the area, Mark became the pianist for the original Starline Room Dinner Theatre and has collaborated with Paris ever since. During the Starline Room hiatus (1994-2004) Mark played cocktail piano for the Gondola Restaurant in Taunton and with Paris for the annual MMAS Dinner Theater Shows as well as many private voice recitals and Starline Shows that were taken on the road. Mark has been playing for the Paris Cabaret and the Starliners since its reopening in 2004. Mark remains the pianist for the Paris Cabaret and likes to be available for all the Academy Recitals and Musical Theatre productions. By day he is employed in sales at Bearings Specialty in Canton.
