Corinne Mason

Musical Theatre & Drama Dance Instructor

 

      Corinne is a graduate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, with a degree in Musical Theatre. At AMDA Corinne was trained in all areas of performance, including, Stanislavky’s Technique for Acting, Meisner’s Musical Theatre Technique, Classical Voice, Voice and Speech, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Theatre Dance, as well as the Alexander Technique. Also, in New York, Corinne had the rare opportunity to partake in the development of new works by David Cowen, as well as Scott Alan.

      Previous to college, Corinne performed in, choreographed, and directed several shows at Stoughton High School. She also performed heavily with Worcester Foothills Theatre and The Company Theatre.

     Currently, Corinne is a private acting coach, as well as a teacher at The Deborah Mason School of Dance, in Cambridge and Choreographer of the Watertown Children's Theatre. Corinne actively performs in many theatrical productions in the area.

       Corinne intends on pursuing her Master’s Degree in Theatrical Education from Emerson College, and still trains everyday in her craft. She believes art is ever changing, and in order to stay current, one must always be learning new skills. She has a great passion for theatre, and children, and the effect that both can have on the world, by themselves, and in combination.
