Eileen Sprague
Broadway Stars 3 on Fridays, Musical Production Choreography
Eileen is a graduate of Catholic University in Washington D.C. where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. It was here that she extensively studied classical voice, acting, music theory and dance. Her training includes experience in choral conducting, Alexander Technique and Meisner’s Technique.
Before beginning her teaching career, she performed on various stages up and down the east coast including the Kennedy Center (Washington D.C.) and the Tony Award winning Signature Theatre (Arlington, VA). Some of her favorite roles included Cunegonde in Candide and Mabel in Pirates of Penzance. As a Stoughton native, you may have seen her perform prior to attending college with numerous local theatre companies!
Although she spends most of her time on stage, Eileen also has been involved with set, make up, costume and sound design, publicity and has been a production manager for several shows.
Eileen has also just received her Masters degree in Elementary Education and will be joining the Gibbons faculty in Stoughton as a fifth grade teacher. You also may have seen her as a Starliner in the Paris Cabaret shows or as Tup Tim in "The King and I." She continually takes part in the performances we have here at Starline.
Eileen is extremely excited to be back and can't wait to share her love of theatre with her students!
